Gathering Input on Education Redesign

As we reimagine education for the 21st century, we plan to engage our community in creating a collective vision of community aspirations for all students.

Part of this effort includes joining a national effort to develop a Portrait of a Graduate. To kick off this effort, the district will offer a public viewing (February 12th, 2019 event canceled due to predicted inclement weather) of the film Most Likely to Succeed, about innovative education experiences at High Tech High in San Diego. The film examines new approaches to prepare students for a rapidly changing world. It will be followed by a panel discussion with industry leaders, educators, and students.

Once developed, the Oregon City Portrait of a Graduate will provide strategic direction for the redesign of the overall education experience to ensure we prepare all students for a successful future.
