SENIOR CLASS MEETING
If you plan to graduate in June we would like to have you on campus Wednesday, April 1st for a short class meeting. Please join us at 1:30 for about half an hour. Thank you.
HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS TOURNAMENT
The annual First Robotics Tournament at CAIS is right around the corner. This year, due to scheduling issues we have a date that coincides with spring break. This has created an extra need for volunteers. We need you! If you are a parent, family member, neighbor or friend that would like to put in some time to make this event a success we will happily put you to work. There are many types of positions available. A big shout out to our Middle School Robotics Team for qualifying for the VEX State Championship! Their passion, problem-solving, and teamwork throughout the season made this achievement possible. We’re inspired by their effort and proud of their success!

MID TERM CONFERENCES
MIDDLE SCHOOL - 6th & 7th Grade Only
Teachers will be reaching out to some families to schedule conferences during the day on Thursday, April 9th. If you do not receive a request, please plan to come between 4:00 and 6:30 on that evening. There will be open availability in the cafeteria. No sign up is necessary.
HIGH SCHOOL - Including 8th Grade
Families can come between 4:00 and 6:30 on either Thursday, April 9th. There will be open availability in the cafeteria. No sign up is necessary.
AUTOMOTIVE CLASS NEEDS
Mr. Smith's Automotive class is in need of fabric donations. They specifically would like denim jeans and clean feed sacks.
GAMING CLUB CANCELLED UNTIL APRIL 17th
The gaming club is going to take a break due to robotics team scheduling conflicts. See you then!
OCHS PROM INFORMATION
4/26 from 7-10pm at NW Annex (10500 SW Nimbus Ave., Portland, OR 97223)
Doors close at 8:30pm
Ticket Prices:
$35 for a single ticket
$70 for a couples ticket
No tickets sold at the door.
Ticket Sales:
To purchase tickets, a library form must be filled out, signed by the library and turned into accounting when paying for your ticket.
Tickets will be on sale at the OCHS Accounting office from 4/14-4/23, ending at 4pm.
Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Students from CAIS and OCSLA will need to come to OCHS to get their library & fines form filled out by our library staff and accounting office staff. Once that form is signed, they can purchase their tickets at the OCHS accounting office. Our accounting office is usually closed to students during the OCHS school hours, however they will be OPEN for CAIS and OCSLA students to purchase tickets at any time from 7:30am-4pm.
Guest Passes:
Guest passes will be available at Student Services on 4/7
Guest passes are due by 4/18
They will need the guest pass turned in prior to purchasing their tickets. Guest passes need to be faxed or emailed by the guests school to Deby Webb. All that info will be on the guest pass.
OREGON DMV KNOWLEDGE TEST - AVAILABLE ONLINE!
Spring break is a great time for students preparing to get their driver instruction permit to take their Oregon DMV knowledge test online. Students are encouraged to save a trip to the DMV by taking the knowledge test online from the comfort of their home.
Is your teen ready to learn how to drive? Oregon DMV offers online knowledge testing for Class C knowledge tests in eight languages. Save yourself some time and check out testing on the DMV website.

CAIS SWAG FOR SALE!
Swag orders are available again. This will be the last opportunity to order until fall. The ordering window is March 16th to March 31st.
UPCOMING PTO FUNDRAISER
CAIS PTO is holding a raffle for some great gift baskets. The baskets will be on display at Kissing Kate's starting next Monday through the 30th. Tickets are for sale there.

PLANT SALE COMING UP
Order forms will be going home next week for vegetable and bedding plants, hanging baskets and planters.
