Week 1
Monday
Have your child draw a picture of themself!
Have them make up a story about themselves.
If you want, cut it out and turn it into a puppet. Ask your child where the puppet is going or what it would like to do!
Tuesday
Can you count the objects as you listen to the story?
After the story, grab some beans or noodles. Tell your child a number under 10 and see if they can show the amount with the beans.
Wednesday
Have your child practice making different faces in the mirror- happy, mad, silly…
Then talk about each feeling together! “When I make this face, it means I’m feeling ____.”
Thursday
Practice rhyming by singing the “Name Game” with your child using their name!

Friday
Moon Walk!
Explain to your child that on the moon, astronauts must move very slowly and balance carefully. Have your child take big, slow steps across a room or outdoors.
Count how many steps it takes to cross the room. Can you take fewer, bigger steps or more, smaller steps?
